Views from Astoria

While in Astoria, Oregon a few weekends past, we went up to the Astoria column and these are the views from the base and top of the column. Simply gorgeous! //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js

Port of Astoria

I could’ve woken up to this view every day. //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js

Astoria Megler Bridge

I love bridges. I love the architecture and design and the engineering which I don’t understand. I love their utilitarian beauty. This beaute is between Astoria, OR and Washington and on of my faves. PS still playing with that lens here čÖé //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js

Long Beach, Washington

This is a gorgeous, quiet beach which you can drive right on to! Pretty cool and, as you can imagine, my favorite thing to do is walk long stretches taking photos. The trick is keeping my windswept hair out of the frame!

Rain Drops on Windows

Just a few of my favorite things… //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js

My Neighborhood

This post is a bit of playtime for me. A friend lent me a wide-angle lens for my Olympus to try (with the intent to sell) and this was the first time I tried it out, just walking around my neighborhood. What do you think? Should I buy it? More photos with that lens coming…
